January
A Chocolatiers Box, just in time for Valentine's Day !

February
Learning to
use the Circle Slice Ruler and then designing a pillow with
multi-design layout. We'll use our design for a pillow top
for the well-dressed bed.
March/April
The Heirloom Pillow
Sham
Center multiple-design layout and stacked
stitch border done with a wing needle. The hem is attached
with faggoting.

Full top fits a standard bed pillow.

May
Labels and More!
Custom
labels for everything from quilts to garments. It can be
digitized embroidery, embroidered with built in stitches or
printed on fabric.
It's important to sign your
work!

June
Grab those color crayons and use them to color quilt blocks,
embroidery and more! We'll explore this current rage!

July
Crayon Banner
Embroidery and crayons (and next
month quilting) will combine for a great banner for above the
fireplace on to grace your table.

August
Crayon Banner Quilting
We used a method called
"McTavishing" to finish our banner.


September
Tassels and Fringe
Embroidery designs with
tassels and fringe add dimension.


Softy Tray was done using a triple tassel design. This was
one idea, among others, for using those stitch samples.
October
Variegated Thread

Testing and using different variegated threads in different
types of embroidery including a wonderful feather design.
November
Positive/Negative Embroidery

Positive Negative designs for color blocked fabrics adds an
extra element of interest.
December
We'll explore embroidery on a special metal "fabric" that we'll use on
a candle wrap.
