Sometimes you
just need an idea to get those juices flowing !!!
Slippers Re-Visited

What started as an article in the Pfaff Club
magazine became a passion.
The article featured several educators using
the same commercial pattern, each adding their own decorative
ideas. I liked what I saw so gave it a try. I soon
discovered the need for a better construction method to make
them wear better, be more comfortable and look a little more
professional. The end result became a project in a Sulky
teachers seminar, and later a class.
Guess what? I'm still making them !!
They don't require a lot of fabric or time and are a great way
to use up those leftovers.

The latest:
Top left: Toe is crinkled fabric
leftover from a purse with the same uncrinkled fabric for the
rest.
Right: Fabric left from a blouse with
embroidered flowers on the toe for a little dimension.
Bottom left: Fabric with a water look,
bought for another project, turned out to be a little too
bold. So it became slippers with fish embroidery.
You'll notice recurring colors of blue, pink,
& purple that just happens to go with my favorite robe !!!
